【無料 日帰りモニターツアー】6月10日（水）『水郷潮来あやめまつり』【Free One-Day Monitor Tour】 June 10th (Wed) “Suigo Itako Iris Festival”

6月10日（水）の日帰りモニターツアーの参加者を募集します。
本来有料のところ、特別に10名を無料ご招待します。
集合解散は成田空港第1ターミナルですが、往復の交通費を支給します（ただし上限5000円まで）

このツアーの舞台となる茨城県・潮来（いたこ）は約700年前から水運の要所として町中に水路が張り巡らされました。

約400年前の江戸時代になると町はさらに発展し、その水路は荷物の運搬だけではなく日常の交通手段としても利用され、結婚の際には嫁入り道具を積んだ「ろ舟」で花嫁も移動していました。
現代では毎年行われる水郷潮来あやめまつりの限定イベント「嫁入り舟」として、その姿を今に伝えています。
このイベントは公募で選ばれた本物の新婚夫婦が主役となり、大勢の観光客に祝福されながら花嫁が手漕ぎのろ舟に乗り、下流で待つ花婿の元へ向かい、嫁入りの儀式が執り行われます。
このツアーでは潮来独自の婚礼文化を今に伝えるセレモニーの観覧とろ舟に乗船体験をすることができます。

08:30　成田国際空港第1ターミナル 集合
08:45　鉄道またはバスにて出発
10:30　JR潮来駅に鉄道・バスともに到着
10:40　津軽河岸あと広場に到着、花嫁の出発見学
11:00　「嫁入り船」発船、津軽河岸あと広場から潮来あやめ園へ徒歩にて移動
11:45　ろ舟乗船体験
12:00　津軽河岸あと広場 石の蔵に到着、昼食　昼食後あやめ園へ移動
12:45　津軽河岸あと広場からろ舟にて潮来あやめ園へ移動
13:00　潮来あやめ園に到着、水郷潮来あやめまつりを見学
13:30　潮来あやめ園からバスにて移動
14:00　道の駅いたこに到着、見学
14:20　道の駅いたこからバスで成田空港第1ターミナルへ移動
15:00　成田空港第1ターミナルに到着　解散

予約完了後、旅行会社（株式会社JTB）から詳細についての連絡があります。

・参加費は無料です。謝礼はありません。
・交通費は実費を支給しますが、上限は往復で5000円です。それを超えた場合は自己負担になります
交通費は翌月20日にcross the borderより銀行振り込みいたします

We are looking for participants for a one-day monitor tour on June 10th (Wed).
Although this tour is normally paid, we are offering a special opportunity for 10 participants to join free of charge.
The meeting point and dismissal location will be at Narita Airport Terminal 1.
Round-trip transportation expenses will be reimbursed up to 5,000 yen per person.

The setting for this tour is Itako, Ibaraki Prefecture, a town where waterways have spread throughout the area for approximately 700 years as an important hub for water transportation.
During the Edo period about 400 years ago, the town flourished even further.
The waterways were used not only for transporting goods but also as an everyday means of transportation. At that time, brides would travel by traditional hand-rowed wooden boats called “ro-bune,” carrying their wedding belongings as part of the marriage ceremony.

Today, this tradition lives on through the special annual event called the “Yomeiri-bune (Bridal Boat Procession),” held during the Suigo Itako Iris Festival.
In this event, a real newlywed couple selected through a public application process takes the leading role.
Surrounded and celebrated by large crowds of visitors, the bride rides a hand-rowed ro-bune boat and travels to meet the groom waiting downstream, where the traditional wedding ceremony is performed.
On this tour, participants will have the opportunity to watch this unique ceremonial tradition that preserves Itako’s distinctive wedding culture and also experience a ride on a traditional rowboat themselves.

◆Schedule
08:30　Meet at Narita International Airport Terminal 1
08:45　Depart by train or bus
10:30　Arrive at JR Itako Station (both train and bus participants arrive here)
10:40　Arrive at Tsugarugashi-ato Hiroba and watch the bride’s departure ceremony
11:00　The“Yomeiri-bune (Bridal Boat)”procession departs, then walk from Tsugarugashi-ato Hiroba to Itako Iris Garden
11:45　Experience a traditional rowboat ride
12:00　Arrive at the Stone Warehouse located in Tsugarugashi-ato Hiroba for lunch. After lunch, move to Itako Iris Garden
12:45　Transfer from Tsugarugashi-ato Hiroba to Itako Iris Garden by traditional rowboat.
13:00　Travel by rowboat from Tsugarugashi-ato Hiroba to Itako Iris Garden
13:30　Depart from Itako Iris Garden by bus
14:00　Arrive at the roadside station Itako and enjoy free time for sightseeing
14:20　Depart from roadside station Itako by bus for Narita International Airport Terminal 1
15:00　Arrive at Narita International Airport Terminal 1 / Tour ends and dismissal.

・Please note that this tour includes walking and stair use within Itako city.
・Meals cannot be arranged for vegetarian, vegan, halal, or allergy-specific requirements.
・Tour guidance will be provided in English and Chinese only.
・Participants will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire after the tour.

Please submit your initial application first.
Selected participants will be notified by email. After receiving the email, please complete your booking through the reservation website provided in the message (please note that the tour will be displayed as \0, so you may proceed with the booking at no cost).
Once your booking is completed, the travel agency (JTB Corporation) will contact you with further details.

◆Participation Fee and Transportation Expenses
・The participation fee is free of charge. No compensation will be provided.
・Transportation expenses will be reimbursed based on actual costs, up to a maximum of 5,000 yen for round-trip travel. Any amount exceeding this limit must be borne by the participant.
・Transportation reimbursement will be transferred by bank deposit from cross the border on the 20th of the following month.
