October 14th (Wed) Interational Exchange Program at a High School in Nara 10月14日（水）奈良の高校で国際交流プログラム

We will have an international exchange program with first-year high school students in Nara Prefecture.
First, you will gather in the gymnasium for a program with all the students.
After that, you will move to individual classrooms and continue the exchange activities in each class.

◆Schedule
October 14th (Wednesday)
Meet at Kintetsu Kashihara-jingu-mae Station
Travel together from the station to the school
After arriving at the school, you will have lunch break and briefing with the facilitators.
The program will start at 1:20 PM, and end at 3:15 PM.
The exact schedule will be confirmed in advance.

◆Location
A high school in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture
The school can be reached from Kintetsu Kashihara-jingu-mae Station on foot, by bus, or by taxi.

◆Program Details
9 international participants will join an international exchange program.
There will be approximately 320 first-year high school students (15-16 years old) from 8 classes.

You will participate in two activities.

①Program in the Gym – 45 minutes
The program will begin with a simple icebreaker involving all students.
You will stand at an assigned location in the gymnasium.
Groups of approximately 40 students will come to your area.
Please greet the students in your native language, introduce some food from your home country and introduce a famous tourist attraction or landmark from your country.
After a short interaction, another group of approximately 40 students will come to your area, and you will repeat the same activity.
This will happen three times, so the students will have the opportunity to learn about three different countries.

②Program in the Classroom – 45 minutes
After the activity at gym, you will move to a classroom.
One international participant will be assigned to each class.
First, the students will give you a presentation about Nara, so please listen to their presentation.
Then, please give a presentation about yourself for approximately 15 minutes. You can talk about yourself and your background, your home country and culture, why you came to Japan, your future goals and anything else you would like to share with the students.
After your presentation, there will be a Q&A session, followed by a group photo.

※The details of Activity ① and ② are currently being discussed with the school and may be subject to change.
※Please prepare a short presentation about yourself and your home country in advance. We recommend preparing your presentation using slides. Please bring your own laptop or tablet to show your presentation to students.
※There will be time to have lunch in a designated room after arriving at the school. If you would like to eat lunch, please bring your own lunch.

Approximately 320 first-year high school students (15-16 years old) from 8 classes

Business-level English or higher

◆Compensation
7,000 yen
Transportation expenses will be reimbursed based on actual costs.
Transportation reimbursement is available only for participants traveling from Nara, Kyoto, or Osaka.

奈良県の高校1年生と英語で国際交流をおこないます。
まずは体育館で全体でのプログラムを行い、そのあと各教室に分かれてクラス単位で交流をします。

10月14日（水）
11：30に近鉄橿原神宮前駅に集合し全員で学校に移動
学校に到着後、ランチタイム、ファシリテーターとブリーフィングを行います
プログラムは13：20にスタート、15：15終了を予定しています

◆場所
奈良県橿原市にある高校
近鉄橿原神宮前駅から徒歩、またはバスかタクシー

◆内容
国際交流プログラムとして、9名の外国人にご参加いただき高校生1年生（15～16歳）と交流を行います
生徒は8クラス×約40＝約320名です。

①体育館でのプログラム　45分間
まずは全体で簡単なアイスブレイクを行います。
体育館の各位置に立っていただき、そこに生徒たち約40人がやってきます。
母国語で挨拶をして、母国の食べ物、有名な観光スポットを紹介してください。
次に、別の約40人のグループが来るので、同様な話をしてください。
さらに、別の約40人のグループが来ますので、同様となります。
生徒たちは3つの国の話を聞きます

②教室でのプログラム　45分間
次に各教室に移動します。
外国人は1クラスに1名です。
まず生徒から奈良を紹介するプレゼンテーションがありますので聞いてください。
次に、ご自身の話をしてください。自己紹介・母国紹介・日本来た理由・今後の目標などを15分程度で話をしてください。
質疑応答、記念写真を撮ります。

※現在、①と②の内容を学校と調整中のため変更になる場合があります。
※母国紹介、自己紹介の準備をしてきてください。スライド等にまとめていただき、PCかタブレットをご持参いただきそれを見せながら話をしてください。
※到着後、控室で昼食をとる時間を設けています。食べる方は昼食をご持参ください。
