Online interview: How international residents access and share information during disasters and emergencies オンラインインタビュー！災害時などの情報の取得や共有ついて

This online interview aims to better understand how important information can effectively reach international residents in Japan, including during disasters and emergencies.

We would like to ask you about how you usually access information and how you share information with others.

Participants from the following countries are eligible.
Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Iran, Thailand, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.

◆Date: To be determined
We will ask your availability and decide the date of online interview accordingly.

The online interview is expected to take place between late August and mid-September.

Interview duration will depend on the number of participants.
in the case of
・1 participant: 60 minutes
・2 participants: 90 minutes
・3 participants: 120 minutes

The number of participants will be decided based on the schedule, so you will not be able to choose how many people will participate.

◆What we will ask about:
・How you usually access information from local government offices and information related to daily life in Japan.

・What tool you use to share information with people from the same country. (e.g., social media, portal sites)

・How you access and share information during disasters, such as earthquakes, heavy rain and typhoons.

◆Eligibility
・You are 18 years or older and currently live in Tokyo or have lived in Tokyo in the past.
・You have lived in Japan for 10 years or less.
・You can speak either Japanese or English.
・You can join the online interview from a quiet place with a stable internet connection.

・Eligible countries:
Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Iran, Thailand, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.

◆Compensation
8,000 Yen
The payment will be made by bank transfer on the 20th of the month following the interview.
Payment can only be made to a bank account registered as a resident account.

災害時やその他の届けたい情報を、外国人にも届くようにすることを目的とした調査です。
日本に住む外国人がどのようにして情報を取得しているのか、外国人同士がどのような手段で情報を取得、共有しているのかをオンラインインタビューで伺います。

◆日程
オンラインインタビューの日程は希望をお伺いして決定します。
おおよそ、8月下旬～9月中旬までに実施をする予定です。

インタビューは、参加する人数により時間が異なります
1名の場合：60分
2名の場合：90分
3名の場合：120分

何人でインタビューを受けていただくのかはスケジュール次第で決定します。どれになるのかは選べません。

◆インタビューで聞くこと
・いつもどのようにして、行政や生活に関わる情報を取得しているのか
・同じ国の人同士、どのようなツールを使って情報をシェアしているのか（SNSやポータルサイトなど）
・災害時（地震、大雨、台風など）の情報共有はどのようにしているのか

◆応募条件
・18歳以上の東京都内に住んでいる人（今は別の場所に住んでいても、東京に住んでいたことがあればOK）
・日本に住んで10年以内の人
・日本語または英語が話せる人
・オンラインインタビューに、静かで通信状況の良い環境から入室できる方

＜対象国＞
バングラデシュ、ウズベキスタン、マレーシア、パキスタン、トルコ、イラン、タイ、モンゴル、スリランカ、カンボジア

各国3名ずつ

◆謝礼
8,000円
実施月の翌月20日に銀行振り込みします。
（日本の銀行で居住者の口座に限ります）
