August 22(Sat) and 23(Sun): Indoor Workshop and Fieldwork in Kobe 8月22日と23日 神戸で室内ワークとフィールドワーク

Approximately 90 third-year junior high school students (ages 14-15) from Aichi prefecture who are interested in English and their local communities will participate in this inquiry-based learning program.

The purpose of the program is to help students recognize both the strengths and challenges of their region, develop the ability to communicate these perspectives internationally, and become active contributors to their local community.
The program is based on the concept of “Think Globally, Act Locally” (Glocal Education).

This program will run for three months, from July to September.
As part of the program, the students will explore their own communities and compare them with Kobe. In August, they will visit Kobe and take part in a fieldwork around the city.

We are looking for international participants who can support the students and share their perspectives throughout the program.

Saturday, August 22, 13:00-16:00
Sunday, August 23, 10:00-16:00 and 18:00-20:00 (Break:16:00-18:00)

◆Program Details
・Day 1: Saturday, August 22
You will take a part in a three-hour group workshop in a conference room.
・Day 2: Sunday, August 23
You will join a fieldwork in Kobe. In the evening, you will have dinner with students and reflect on the day together.

Please communicate with the students mainly in English.
Participation on both days is required.

◆Schedule
・Saturday, August, 22, 13:00-16:00
You will work with a group of 5-6 students.
First, you will give a short presentation about your home county to the students.
After that, you will listen to the student’s English presentations, think with them about how to improve them, and give them advice.

・Sunday, August 23, 10:00-16:00
You will take a part in a fieldwork with your group.
Each group will explore the city based on its inquiry theme, while comparing Kobe with the students’ local communities. Through the fieldwork, you will support the students as they discover new issues and perspectives that they may not have noticed during their pre-learning.

18:00-20:00
You will have dinner with the students and reflect on the day together.
Dinner will be a buffet.

・Business -level English proficiency
・Basic Japanese speaking ability
・Ablility to give presentations and advise studetns on their presentations
・Ability to prepare a simple presentation about your home country using slides or photos

※Please note that partial participation is no possible, as the program content continues across both days.

◆Number of Position Available

◆Compensation
・20,000 yen for both days in total
・Transportation expenses will be reimbursed on actual costs. (limited to participants living in Hyogo, Osaka, Kyoto or Nara)
・We will reimburse the actual costs for lunch, transportation, and admission fees on the second day.（Lunch expenses are subject to an upper limit.）

愛知県の英語と自分の街に興味がある中学3年生（14から15歳）90名が探究活動の研修に参加します。

自分たちの地域の良さと課題を認識し、
それを国際的に発信でき、地域で活躍・貢献できる人材を育てるためのプログラムです。
グローカル、「世界的な視野で考え（グローバル）、地域視点で行動する（ローカル）（Think globally, act locally）」の研修です。

この研修は7月から9月まで3か月に渡りますが、
その中で自分たちの街と神戸を比較した探究もあり、8月には実際に神戸に行って街歩きを行います。
外国人の視点を入れながら一緒に活動してくれる外国人を募集します。

8月23日（日） 10時～16時　休憩　18時～20時

◆内容
1日目は3時間会議室でグループワークを行います。
2日目は神戸の街をフィールドワークし、夜は夕食を一緒に食べながら振り返りを行います。

基本は英語でコミュニケーションをお願いします。
2日間の参加をお願いします。

◆スケジュール
8月22日（土）　13時～16時
生徒5～6名を1グループしたグループワークです。
まずはグループの生徒にあなたの国のことをプレゼンしてください。
そのあと、生徒たちが作った英語のプレゼンを聞いていただき、そのプレゼンの改善点を一緒に考え、アドバイスをしてください。

8月23日（日）
10時～16時
各グループで神戸の街歩きに出かけます。
生徒たちの街と神戸を比較しながら、グループ毎に探究テーマがあるのでそれに基づいて散策します。
現地の実地調査を通じて、事前学習では気づけなかった課題などを見つけます

18時～20時
ホテルで生徒たちと夕食を一緒にとりながら、昼間の振り返りをします。
夕食はビュッフェです

◆応募条件
2日間とも参加出来る人（内容が続いているため1日だけの参加は不可です）
英語がビジネスレベル話せる人
日本語が少し話せる人
プレゼンなどに慣れていて、生徒にプレゼンアドバイスが出来る人
母国紹介の簡単なスライドを用意してくれる人

20,000円
2日間の報酬です。1日だけの参加は出来ません
交通費は実費を支給します（ただし、兵庫、大阪、京都、奈良にお住まいの人に限ます）
2日目の街歩き中のランチ代、移動交通費、入場料は実費を支給します（ランチ代は上限あり）
