In this 3-hour intercultural program, you will enjoy interacting with Japanese junior high school students using English through self-introductions, and discussions.
The program is held at a training facility located in Gotemba, Shizuoka Prefecture.

◆Schedule
June 16th (Tue)
Program time: 13:00~16:00
Meeting time: Around 11:50 at JR Gotemba Station
※It takes approximately two hours to travel from Tokyo to Gotemba. As train services are quite limited (with only one train per hour on the Gotemba Line), please apply only if you can commit to arriving on time without being late.
※We will move to the venue by taxi from Gotemba Station.
※A short briefing will be held upon arrival.

◆Venue
A lodging/training facility located about 10 minutes by taxi from JR Gotemba Station, Shizuoka Prefecture.

◆Contents
This is an intercultural program with 2nd-year junior high school students from a Protestant Christian school.
Through simple English activities, such as self-introductions, sharing about your home country(Approximately 20 minutes × 2 groups), and discussion around the themes of “love” and “how to become a loving person”(Approximately 30 minutes), the program promotes mutual understanding.
A representative student will give a presentation.
There will be a short tea break, followed by some free time for casual conversation at the end. *The content and schedule are subject to change.

English level: Above conversational level
Japanese level: Preferred
Must be respectful of Christian (Protestant) values (the school is faith-based)
Willing to prepare a simple presentation and bring own device (PC, tablet, paper, etc.) to introduce yourself and your home country

◆Reward
7,000 yen
We will reimburse the actual transportation costs (round trip) from your home to JR Gotemba Station.
※Only residents of the Kanto area and Shizuoka are eligible
※Shinkansen fare is NOT reimbursable
Payment date: 20th of the following month (transferred to a Japanese bank account)

場所は静岡県の御殿場にある研修施設です。

到着したらブリーフィングを行います

◆内容
キリスト教（プロテスタント）信仰の中学校2年生（13歳～14歳）と英語を使った他者理解のプログラムです。
自己紹介、母国紹介などをしていただいたあと、
「愛」や「愛する人になるために」というテーマで生徒とディスカッションします。代表の生徒が発表をします。
簡単なティーブレイクと最後には自由におしゃべりを楽しむ時間があります

◆条件
英語が日常会話レベル以上話せる人
日本語が話せる人優先
キリスト教（プロテスタント）信仰の学校のためキリスト教を否定しない人
自己紹介、母国紹介をするための簡単なスライド（PC、タブレット、紙、なんでもOK)を持参してくれる人
