English Teachers for Children – Hiring in Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama & Kanagawa : Experienced (1+ year required) & Non-Experienced teacher

We’re seeking enthusiastic native-level English speakers who enjoy working with children for teaching roles at the Benesse BE Studio, a leading provider of early childhood education in Japan.

◆Your Role Includes:
-Teaching children aged 0–15 using songs, dance, and games
-Setting up and cleaning up before/after lessons
-Communicating with parents and supporting a positive classroom atmosphere
-Attending training and team meetings

◆Location
Classes are held in various locations across Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and Kanagawa.

For Experienced Teachers:
-Assigned to a fixed classroom.

For Non-Experienced Teachers:
-Assigned to different classrooms for each lesson.

◆Compensation
For Experienced Teachers:
-Hourly Rate: ¥2,000 – ¥3,500 (based on experience and skills)
-A monthly salary option is available, but Benesse will decide based on experience and skills.
-Transportation: Full reimbursement

For Non-Experienced Teachers:
-Per Lesson: ¥2,000 (1 lesson = approx. 60 mins)
-Preparation Allowance: ¥300/day
-Transportation: Full reimbursement

◆Working Hours
For All Teachers:
-Weekdays: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
-Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-45-min break for shifts over 6 hours
-60-min break for shifts over 8 hours

For Experienced Teachers：
-Fixed weekly shifts (6–8 hours/day)
-Mainly Saturdays, with possible weekday shifts

For Non-Experienced Teachers：
-Flexible schedule: 2–8 hours/day
-No-Fixed schedule. Lessons are assigned based on your availability but not guaranteed for every requested day.

-30–40 hours of pre-employment training
-Paid at local minimum wage + transportation

For Non-Experienced Teachers:
– Paid at local minimum wage + transportation

◆Holidays
For Experienced Teachers:
-Based on classroom schedule

For Non-Experienced Teachers:
-No classes during March and April
(No additional paid holidays or welfare benefits)

◆Qualifications
For All Applicants:
-Minimum 1 year commitment required
-Native-level English speaker (no Japanese required)
-Energetic, kid-friendly, and enjoys interactive teaching
-Willingness to sing/dance as part of the lesson

For Experienced Teachers:
-Minimum 1 year of English teaching experience
-Must be able to commit to consistent weekly shifts for at least one year
-(Preferred) TEFL/TESOL certified or studied early childhood education
