April 8th (Wed) English communication program with Japanese high school students in Yokohama city　4/8（水）横浜市で高校生と英語を使ったコミュニケーションプログラム

This program is for new first-year high school students (ages 15-16), and it uses English as the primary language.
The purpose is to enrich communication, promote international exchange, and foster team building.

※Please note that the specific schedule and program content will be decided with the school, so there may be some changes.

April 8th (Wed)
Meet at school at 8:50AM, and the program will end at 4:00PM.

◆Location
High school in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture
5-minute walk from Keikyu Line Namamugi Station

◆Program Details
This orientation program is for approximately 356 first-year high school students (ages 15-16) who have just entered high school.
The goal is to help them make new friends and get to know many people.

The program includes games, simple discussions, and presentations in English.
Through sharing your experiences, the program will focus on the fun of learning English and the meaning of learning globally, helping students start their new high school life with excitement.

Please make sure to bring your presentation materials introducing your home country and yourself: Please print on large papers or bring a large screen digital tool such as a laptop or tablet. Since smartphones have small screens, please use them as a supplementary tool only.

※There may be some additional preparations required beyond those listed above, but none of them are difficult.
※Please bring your own lunch, as there will be a lunch break.

Approximately 80 people

◆Eligibility
Must be able to speak English at a conversational level or higher
Japanese language skills are not required.

◆Reward
10,000 yen
Reimbursement for transportation costs (limited to residents of the Kanto area)
1,000 yen for lunch (please bring your own lunch)
※Payment will be made by bank transfer on the 20th of the following month.
(We cannot make transfers to non-resident bank accounts in Japan)

◆内容
新しく高等学校に入学する高校1年生（15～16歳）約340名の生徒が、たくさんの人と仲良くなるためのオリエンテーションプログラムです。

英語でゲームや簡単なディスカッション、発表などを行います。
みなさんの経験をシェアしながら、英語を学ぶ楽しさや世界で学ぶ意味など、高校生の新生活が楽しくなるようなプログラムです。

母国や自己紹介のプレゼンテーション資料は必ずご持参ください。大きな紙に印刷するか、ノートパソコンやタブレットなどの大画面のデジタルツールをご持参ください。スマートフォンは画面が小さいため、補助的なツールとしてご利用ください。

※上記以外にも準備が必要な場合がありますが、難しいものではありません。
※ランチタイムを挟みますのでお昼ご飯を各自ご持参ください
