February 20th(Fri) Outdoor Intercultural Program in Nagasaki with High School Students　2月20日（金）長崎市内を高校生とフィールドワーク

High school students from Tokyo will visit Nagasaki on a school trip.
They will explore the city with international students while using English.
Each group will consist of 6～8 students and 1 international student.

9:00～13:00 (Meeting time will be at 8:30)

◆Meeting Point
Nagasaki Mizube-no-Mori Park (Nagasaki Waterfront Park) – Parking Lot
Tram Route 1: Akasako → Sofukuji, 2 minutes walk from “Dejima” stop
Tram Route 5: Hotaru-chaya → Ishibashi, 1 minute walk from “Medical Center” stop

◆Activity Description
About 90 high school students from Tokyo will visit Nagasaki for a study trip.
Explore the city with international students while playing simple English games.
The game involves finding designated checkpoints using provided hints, visiting each location, and taking photos.
Work together with your group members to locate all checkpoints.

By 12:00, all groups will arrive at a designated restaurant.
Everyone will have lunch together, and the activity will conclude at 13:00 in front of the restaurant.

As the menu is fixed, anyone who cannot eat the provided meal for religious or other reasons is asked to bring their own food.

Lunch: Turkish Rice (Toruko Rice)
Toruko Rice is a popular local Western-style dish from Nagasaki.
It typically includes pilaf (often curry-flavored), ketchup-based spaghetti, and a pork cutlet on one plate – something like a hearty, full-portion dish often described as a “grown-up version of a kids’ meal.”
Despite its name, it is not a Turkish dish. It is a beloved Nagasaki specialty created around the 1950s, embodying the dreams of the local people.
Please note that it contains pork.

A restaurant near the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum.

8,000 yen
Transportation expenses covered (for residents of Nagasaki Prefecture only)
Any admission fees for tourist sites will be reimbursed
※For those who cannot eat the provided lunch, 1,000 yen will be given to cover your own meal.
※All payments will be made via bank transfer on March 20th.

長崎市内を外国人と一緒に英語を使って街歩きをします。

5号系統：蛍茶屋～石橋　「メディカルセンター」電停より、徒歩1分

◆活動内容
東京の高校生（約90名）が長崎に研修旅行に行きます。
その時に外国人と英語を使って簡単なゲームをしながら街歩きをします。
ゲームは指定されたチェックポイントを探し出し、そこに行って写真を撮るというものです。
ヒントを元に協力しながらチェックポイントを見つけてください。

12時までに指定のレストランに行きます。
全員で同じレストランで食事をして、13時にレストランの前で解散します。

提供される食事が決まっているため、宗教上の理由などで食べられない人はお手数ですがご持参ください

ランチ：トルコライス
トルコライスは、長崎発祥のご当地洋食で、ピラフ（カレー味が多い）、 ナポリタン、とんかつを一つのプレートに盛り合わせた、ボリューム満点の「大人のお子様ランチ」のような料理です。
豚肉を使っているためトルコ料理ではなく、昭和30年代頃に長崎の洋食店で生まれた、庶民の憧れが詰まった一皿とされています。

観光施設への入場料がかかる場合は実費支給
