November 18(Wed) English Cross-Cultural Program in Kyoto with Junior High School Students from Oita Prefecture　11月18日（水）京都で中学生と英語を使って異文化理解のプログラム

This is an indoor cross-cultural program held at a conference room in Kyoto.
Through fun English communication activities, the students will learn that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as they communicate their ideas. They will also discover the differences and seminaries between Japan and other cultures and customs.

November 18(Wed), 14:30-17:30
※Meeting time: 14:00 (tentative)

◆Location
Conference room near Kyoto Station.(planned)

◆Program activities
There will be 118 third-year junior high school students from Oita Prefecture, aged 14-15, visiting Kyoto on a school trip.
・A game to find your buddy
・English word games
・Self-introduction and introducing your home country
・Group discussion about Japan, cultural differences and life in Japan
・Summarizing the discussion and giving a presentation

※Please prepare to a short presentation about yourself and your home county (about 10-15 minutes).
Please bring your laptop or tablet and show your presentation to the students.

Business level English proficiency

◆Compensation
6,000 yen
Transportation expenses will be reimbursed by actual cost. (for residents of Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara and Shiga only).
Please note that limited express, Shinkansen and taxi fares are not covered.

Payment will be made by bank transfer on the 20th of the following month.

英語を間違えても伝われば良い！という体験や、
海外との文化や習慣などの「違い」や「共通点」知るプグラムです。

◆内容
大分県の中学3年生（14～15歳）118名が研修旅行で京都に来ます。
京都の外国人と英語を使って、プログラムを行います

・グループの外国人Buddyを探すゲーム
・英単語を使ったゲーム
・外国人の母国紹介、自己紹介
・ディスカッション（日本の魅力や母国の違い、日本の生活で困ったことなど）
・ディスカッションの内容をまとめ、発表

※母国紹介・自己紹介で、PCやタブレットを持参しスライドを見せながら話をしてください。
10分～15分を予定しています。

英語がビジネスレベル話せる人

◆募集人数
26人

◆報酬
6,000円
交通費は実費支給（ただし、京都、大阪、兵庫、奈良、滋賀の方に限ります。特急や新幹線、タクシーなどの料金は対象外です）
翌月20日に銀行振り込みいたします
