October 9th(Fri) – English Discussion Program with High School Students　10月9日（金）高校生とのディスカッションプログラム

This is an English discussion program with high school students on the theme of “What Makes a Happy School?”
You will discus the topic with students in English. At the end of program, the students will give presentations to share a summary of their discussion.

◆Schedule
October 9 (Friday)
9:00-13:30
Meeting time: 8:30
Lunch: You will have lunch with the students from 12:30-13:30.

◆Location
A conference room, a 6-minute walk from JR Ryogoku Station

◆Program Detail
This program will be held with 241 second-year high school students (ages 16-17) visiting Tokyo from Niigata prefecture on their school trip.
The students will be divided into 48 groups. Each group will include about 5 students and 1-2 international participants in each group.

<Program overview>
1. Icebreaker (30 minutes)
Each person will give a 4-minute self-introduction, including their home country or region and about themselves.
Please prepare a short PPT or slides using photos and show them on your own laptop or tablet.

2. English Game

3. Discussion
First, you and the students will share information about your schools, student life and school life.
Then, you will discuss together what makes a school a “happy school.”
The goal is for the students to summarize the group’s ideas and give a presentation at the end.
(The facilitator will explain the activity in more detail on the day.)

4. Three groups will come together to form one larger group.
The students will present a summary of their discussion.

5. Final Presentation
Six selected groups will give presentations to all participants.

6. Lunch with the students (until 13:30)
You will have lunch with the students until 13:30.

We are planning to provide a lunch box containing five Tenmusu (rice balls with tempura shrimp)
For participants with dietary restrictions, we are currently checking whether bringing your own food will be allowed.
Please note that outside food may not be permitted. We will provide further information once this has been confirmed.

◆Requirements
・Business-level English proficiency
・No Japanese speaking skills required
・Able to prepare a short presentation or slides introducing yourself and your home country
・Able to actively participate in constructive discussions

◆Number of Positions
53 people
(A few participants may be asked to assist the facilitators during the program)

◆Compensation
7,000 yen
Round-trip transportation expenses will be reimbursed only for those who live in Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa, Saitama or Ibaraki.
Reimbursement is limited to the cost of local/regular train fares.
※Payment will be made by bank transfer on the 20th of the following month.

高校生と英語を使ったディスカッションのプログラムです。

生徒たちと「幸せな学校」をテーマに英語でディスカッションします。
最後に生徒たちは英語で発表を行います。

※12：30～13：30は生徒と一緒にランチ

◆場所
JR両国駅から徒歩6分の会議室

◆内容
新潟県から東京に研修旅行にくる高校2年生（16～17歳）241名と英語を使ったプログラムです。
48のグループに分かれて実施します。
約5人の生徒と、外国人1～2名です。

＜簡単な当日の流れ＞
① 自分の国・地域、ご自身のことについて、高校生と外国人の双方で紹介をします。
全員で30分なので1名4分程度で話をしていただきます。
スライドや写真などをご持参ください（PC,タブレットなど）

② 簡単な英語のゲームをします

③ まずはお互いの学校・学校生活・学生生活について情報を共有しディスカッションします。
（詳しいことは当日ファシリテーターから説明をします）
ゴールは「幸せな学校」とはどういうものか、それをまとめて発表するためのディスカッションです。

④ 3つの班を1グループにして、ディスカッションでまとめた内容を発表します

⑤ さらに代表の6つの班が全体に向けて発表をします

⑥ ～13：30まで生徒と一緒にランチタイム
※「天むす」5個入りのランチボックスを提供予定です。
食事に制限がある方の場合、持ち込みが可能かどうか確認中ですが、持ち込み不可の可能性もあります。

◆応募条件
・英語がビジネスレベル話せる人
・日本語力は問いません
・母国・自己紹介のスライド等を準備してきてくれる人
・建設的な議論が出来る人

◆募集人数
53名（うち、数名はファシリテーターのアシスタントをお願いする可能性があります）

◆報酬
7,000円
交通費支給（ただし、東京、千葉、神奈川、埼玉、茨城にお住まいの方に限ります。普通列車料金に限ります）
※翌月20日に銀行振込します
