Join the English Camp for Elementary and Junior High School Students from August 5th (Wed) to August 7th (Fri)
We are looking for enthusiastic English-speaking instructors to join a 3-day, 2-night English camp for elementary and junior high school students.
Approximal 90 students age 11 to 14 from Saitama Prefecture will participate in this camp.
As an English instructor, you will be responsible for one group throughout the camp.
Each group will consist of:
・You (the English instructor)
・10 students
・1 high school student leaderThe program will be overseen by one main facilitator and one or two assistant facilitators who will support all groups throughout the camp.
The camp will be held at a nature activity and accommodation center operated by Saitama Prefecture in Hanno City, Saitama.
The goal of this program is to improve the English-speaking ability, international sense, communication skill to survive global world

We are currently planning one of the following locations:
・A location about a 20-minute walk from Urawa Station
・A location about a 5-minute walk from Omiya Station
Please note that the location may change as we need to secure a space that can accommodate three large buses.Dismissal time: around 4:00 PM at the same location as the meeting point.
◆Location (Program & Accommodation)
A nature activity facility in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture
(This is a public facility operated by the prefectural government.)◆Participants
90 students (ages 11~14)
6th grade elementary school students, 1st and 2nd year junior high school studentsParticipants will be divided into 9 groups.
Each group will be led by one high school student (ages 15~18) as a group leader.◆Tentative Schedule
【Day 1】
8:10 AM – Meet and depart by three large buses, On-bus activities
11:30 AM – Arrival at the facility
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM – Program begins
・Ice-breaking activities
・Orienteering
・Various group activities
・Theme-based project work (to be presented on the final day)
6:00 PM – Dinner
8:00 PM – Evening activities (games, etc.)
9:00 PM – End of activities【Day 2】
8:00 AM – Breakfast
9:00 AM – Morning activities
・Dance, singing, and other physical activities
・Cross-cultural learning activities
・Outdoor cooking (making curry)
12:00 PM – Lunch (curry prepared by participants)
1:00 PM – Afternoon activities
・Theme-based project work(each team will present on the final day)
・Group activities
6:00 PM – Dinner
8:00 PM – Campfire
9:00 PM – End of activities【Day 3】

【Additional Information】
・An online meeting will be held in late July. Attendance is required.
・You may be asked to prepare simple materials to be used during the program in advance.
・About the Facility:
The camp will take place in a nature-rich area that is not accessible by public transportation.
Shoes must be removed at the entrance of the facility. (Indoor shoes are currently being confirmed.)
・Meals:
Meals will be provided from lunch on Day 1 to lunch on Day 3.
All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are pre-set menus.
Please note that we may not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions due to allergies or religious reasons. In such cases, participants may be asked to bring their own meals.
・Accommodation:
Participants will stay in traditional Japanese-style tatami rooms. Each room will be shared by 4?5 people, separated by gender.
・Bathrooms:
There are no private bathrooms in the rooms. Only shared public baths are available. Swimsuits are not allowed in the bath.
・Please bring indoor shoes and personal toiletries (such as shampoo, towels, toothbrush, etc.). These items are not provided, as they would be in a hotel.◆Requirements
・Native-level English proficiency
・Raised in an English-speaking environment
・Preference will be given to candidates with international English teaching qualifications (e.g., CELTA, CertTESOL)
・Conversational level Japanese ability
・Ability to interact well with children and work in a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic manner
