7月13日（月）異文化理解プログラム：海外に語学研修に行く高校生＠神奈川

高校1年生約90名が夏にカナダ・バンクーバーに語学研修に行きます。
その研修に向けて、日本で生活する外国人の皆さんから、海外で生活することや海外で学ぶことについて話をしていただきます。

約15名の生徒に対し、1名の留学生が話をします。
海外で勉強する意味や、日本の当たり前が世界の当たり前ではないこと（異文化理解）などを事前にインプットすることで、実際に現地に行った時にモチベーション高く充実した日々を過ごせるようになることを目的とした事前学習です。

7月13日（月）10時～12時
集合はセンター北駅に9：30を予定しています。※時間は変更になる可能性があります

◆場所
神奈川県の高校
センター北駅から徒歩10分くらいの場所です。

◆話す内容
自己紹介、母国紹介
日本への留学を決めた理由
海外生活で苦労した点・その克服方法
海外で勉強（生活）して成長した点やその 後の人生にどういった意味や価値を持つのか
など

◆事前準備
自己紹介や母国紹介などをするためのスライドや写真などの用意をお願いします。

1グループ30分でお話をしていただき、それを3グループおこないます。
以下、話せるように考えてきてください
5分 ①自己紹介、母国紹介
15分　②日本への留学を決めた理由
③海外生活で苦労した点・その克服方法
④海外で勉強（生活）して成長した点やその 後の人生にどういった意味や価値を持つのか
10分　⑤生徒からの質問

母国紹介、自己紹介を写真などを見せながら話せる方
日本に留学したその理由や経験などを生徒に話せる方
日本語で話ができて、英語も話せる方

7,000円
交通費実費支給（東京、神奈川、千葉、埼玉在住の方に限ります。）

90 First-Year High School Students to Attend a Language Study Program in Vancouver, Canada This Summer.
In preparation for their language study program, students will hear from international residents living in Japan about life and learning abroad.

One international student will speak to a group of approximately 15 students.
The aim of this pre-departure learning session is to provide insights on the significance of studying overseas and the importance of cross-cultural understanding—such as how what is considered “normal” in Japan may not be the same elsewhere.
This will help students stay motivated and make the most of their time in Canada.

◆Date and Time
July 13th(Monday), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Participants will meet at Center-Kita Station at 9:30 AM. ※The time may change.

◆Location
A high school in Kanagawa Prefecture, about a 10-minute walk from Center-Kita Station.

◆Presentation Topics
Self-introduction and introduction of your home country
Why you chose to study abroad in Japan
Challenges you faced while living overseas and how you overcame them
How studying (and living) abroad helped you grow, and what meaning or value it has had in your life

◆Preparation
Please prepare slides or photos to help with your self-introduction and presentation about your home country.

Each speaker will present three times to three different student groups.
Each session is 30 minutes:
5 minutes: ①Self-introduction and home country introduction
15 minutes: ②Why you chose to study in Japan
③Difficulties experienced abroad and how you overcame them
④Personal growth through overseas study and its impact on your life
10 minutes: ⑤Q&A with students

◆Requirements
Able to give a self-introduction and present your home country using slides or photos
Able to talk about why you chose to study in Japan and share your experiences
Must be able to speak Japanese and English

◆Number of recruitment
6 people plus a few more

◆Reward
7,000 yen, plus actual transportation costs (limited to those living in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, or Saitama).
Payment will be made via bank transfer on the 20th of the following month.
