High school students are going to conduct training called “English Communication with Foreign Tourists on a Sightseeing Bus”. We are looking for individuals to act as foreign tourists for this program.

The purpose of this program is to provide high school students with the experience of guiding in English and offering hospitality to foreign tourists. Since the students will be working hard to guide in English, please ask them questions in simple English as the role of tourists. Your role is also to help the students succeed and build their confidence. At the end of the program, please provide a summary evaluation as well.

◆Schedule

◆Meet up and break up place
Parking lot for large buses at Tokyo Station, Yaesu Exit

◆Contents
260 high school students will be divided into 7 large buses for a training program in which they will tour around Tokyo with foreign tourists using English!
You will take on the role of a foreign tourist and engage the students by asking them various questions in English.
A guide-interpreter will accompany you.

There are four tour routes (you will not be able to choose which route you go):

1. Ueno and Ameyoko Course
Tokyo Station → Ueno Park → Ameyoko Shopping Street → Ryogoku Kokugikan → Tokyo Station

2. Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree Course
Tokyo Station → Asakusa → Tokyo Skytree → Tokyo Station

3. Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower Course
Tokyo Station → Imperial Palace → Tokyo Tower → Zojoji Temple → Tokyo Station

4. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Meiji Shrine, and Japan National Stadium Course
Tokyo Station → Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building → Meiji Shrine → Japan National Stadium → Tokyo Station

◆Requirement
English level: Business level
Japanese level: Basic~Conversational level preferred
Someone who have positive attitude towards the students and can enjoy having conversation with them

◆Number of recruitment
14＋α people (2 people per bus)

◆Rules
-It is prohibited to post anything (including pictures, and texts) about the program, school, and Japanese students on any websites. Websites means all platforms on internet includes any SNS, Blogs, Review sites, internet forum etc.
-It is prohibited to exchange personal contacts and SNS with the Japanese students.
-During the program, please follow our instructions well and stay with your group all the time.

◆Reward
6,000 yen
We will reimburse following expenses and pay with the reward.
・Transportation fee from your home to meet up/break up point (Round trip)
※Only residents of Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa, Saitama, Ibaraki area are eligible.

高校生の研修「観光バスの中で外国人観光客とコミュニケーション」というプログラムで、
外国人観光客役をやってくれる方を募集します。使用言語は英語です

高校生はガイド体験とおもてなし体験をすることが目的ですので、
高校生が一生懸命英語でガイドするで、観光客役としてやさしい英語で質問してあげてください。
最後に総評を言っていただきます。

◆内容
高校生260人が大型バス7台に分かれて乗車し、東京都内を外国人観光客と一緒に英語を使って観光するという研修を行います
皆さんは外国人観光客役で、英語で生徒たちにいろいろと質問をしてください。
通訳案内士が同乗します。

ツアーコースは4つあります（どのバスに乗車していただくのかは選べません）
１、上野・アメ横コース
東京駅→上野公園→アメ横商店街→両国国技館→東京駅
２、浅草・スカイツリーコース
東京駅→浅草→東京スカイツリー→東京駅
３、皇居・東京タワーコース
東京駅→皇居→東京タワー→増上寺→東京駅
４、都庁・明治神宮・国立競技場コース
東京駅→都庁→明治神宮→国立競技場→東京駅

◆応募条件
英語が話せる人
日本語が少し話せるとなお可

◆募集人数
14名＋α（バス1台に2名乗ります）

◆報酬
6000円
交通費実費支給（ただし東京、神奈川、千葉、埼玉、茨城在住に限る）
