I am following the master’s program in Urban Planning at the University of Tokyo.
私は東京大学大学院の修士課程で都市計画学を専攻しています。
■過去、日本以外の国で、どんな学校に通い、どんな勉強をしましたか？
Previously, I studied in my home country, Albania. I studied at a national public school. I got a degree of MSc in Architecture, at the Polytechnic University of Tirana.
私は故郷アルバニアの国立学校で学びました。ティラナ工科大学で建築の修士号を取得しました。
■過去、日本以外の国で仕事をした経験がありますか？
I worked for 5 years at the National Territorial Planning Agency in Albania. It is a government Institution responsible for planning, subordinate to the Ministry responsible for territorial planning and development issues. Our job was to ensure the sustainable development of the territory of Albania. We had to draft and/or coordinate different plans and strategies. Also, we had to ensure that the territorial law was implemented.
私はアルバニアの国家領土計画庁に5年間勤務していました。国家領土計画庁とは、領土計画や開発問題を担当する省の下部組織で、計画を担当する政府機関です。アルバニアの領土において、持続可能な開発を確実に行うことが求められていました。さまざまな計画と戦略を起草したり、調整したりする必要があり、領土法が守られ確実に実施されるようにしなければなりませんでした。
■今後の目標
After finishing the studies in Japan, I will continue working in my country or other developing countries. I want to implement there the knowledge that I will gain here, and assist them in creating more sustainable and better spaces for people to live in.
日本での勉強を終えた後は、母国に戻るか他の途上国で働くつもりです。ここで得た知識をそういった場所で実践し、人々が住むのに持続可能でより良い空間を作る手伝いをしたいと考えています。
