■Self-introduction
“Daai-Gaa-Hou!” (Cantonese, which means “Hello everyone!” I’m Tsang Ho Yin Scott, a foreign student born in Hong Kong. Before I coming to Japan from the UK. I worked as a football coach in Hong Kong and worked in the UK. I was impressed by Japan’s performance in FIFA World Cup, and over the past 10 years, Japan has quietly emerged as a rising star in world football, which led me to study here and pursue my coaching career. In March 2023, I began studying Japanese, and now I’m enrolled in the Sports Health Science and Football Course at Nihon Kogakuin Hachioji College. To make my dream come true, I know I must put in more time and effort than others. Luckily, I’ve been in love with Japanese anime and music since my high school days. Last year, I passed the JLPT N2, and I’m currently working hard to qualify for JLPT N1! Please cheer me on!!
■The Charm of “Japanese Diva” LiSA, Whom I’ve Supported for 14 Years
Here we go! Let me introduce one of Japan’s top anime divas: LiSA! I’ve been here fan since she debuted in 2010 with the band “Girls Dead Monster”(GDM), which is a fictional band from the anime “Angel Beats!”. So it’s been 14 years already! I’ve had the pleasure of attending 21 of her concerts over the past 14 years. Now, I’d like to share with you why I love LiSA and what makes her such an incredible singer!
Charm ① LiSA’s Piercing and Powerful Voice
I became a fan of LiSA when she was chosen as the second lead vocalist “Yui”(ユイ) for the fictional band “Girls Dead Monster”(GDM) in the anime “Angel Beats!”. When the moment that theme song called “My Soul, Your Beats! (Gldemo ver.)” started playing, I was instantly hooked by her stylish and rock-infused voice, which still exhilarates me to this day. LiSA’s delicate yet powerful voice captured my heart from the very start, as well as all the listeners who heard the song. Another song we shouldn’t forget is called "Ichiban no Takaramono" (一番の宝物), also from “Angel Beats!”. Unlike "My Soul, Your Beats! (Gldemo ver.)", it’s not a typical rock-band style song. Instead, it’s a beautiful, emotional ballad. The lyrics and LiSA’s pure and powerful voice perfectly match Yui’s character arc and the overall story of "Angel Beats!". This song never fail to move me to tears, and even LiSA herself has been known to tear up while performing it at her concerts. As a “LiSA-kko”We believe that " 一番の宝物" is an unforgettable song from "Angel Beats!" and perhaps one of the best songs in Japanese anime history. Charm ② LiSA’s Genuine Connection with Fans

- LiSA’s concerts nickname: Date (デート)
- LiSA’s CD and DVD’s nickname: Love letter (ラブレター)
LiSA shows her kindness and love for her fans through her words. She calls her fans as “LiSA-kko” (LiSAッ子) , like a nickname a friend would use, it making us feel closer to her and that she truly loves her fans. And she refers to her concerts as “Date (LiVE)”, and her CD’s and DVD’s as “Love letter (CD)”. These LiSA-specific terms create a sense of closeness between her and her fans. She regularly reads comments from fans on social media (Especially X) also, and interacts with them by liking, reposting, and even following their accounts. While it might seem like a piece of cake to others, but for us LiSA-kko, the excitement of being acknowledged by our idol, LiSA, brings us immense joy. There’s nothing more important to us than knowing that our words, thoughts, and love have reached her!
Charm ③ The Electrifying Atmosphere of LiSA’s Concerts
LiSA’s concerts are open and inclusive, meaning you don’t need to study hard or prepare a lot before attending her concerts. Even if you’re a new fan who started supporting her because of "Gurenge" (紅蓮華) from "Demon Slayer" (鬼滅の刃), you can easily join her concerts and have fun. However, if you want to fully experience the joy of being a LiSA-kko, I recommend leaning the fans chants, known as "Calls" in Japanese anime culture. Imagine that, thousands of fans all in the same place, perfectly synchronised with the performance — it’s truly exhilarating. Can you hear the calls of the LiSA-kko? It’s incredible, right? Everyone who attends these concerts feels pure joy just being in that space. But once you experience the magical moment of joining your fellow LiSA fans in those unforgettable chants, you’ll be hooked! Let’s experience this concert (Date) together!
■A Signature Phrase: "Kyou mo ii hi da! Baichii!"
At the end of each concert, LiSA always shouts, “Today’s a great day! Baichii!” (今日もいい日だっ！ばいちー！), and fans respond loudly with “Baichii! As well. This phrase, “Baichii!”(ばいちー！) meaning “Goodbye”, comes from LiSA’s hometown dialect in Gifu prefecture, and has created as special bond between her and her fans every single time. I can really feel the strong bond that has formed between LiSA and her fans, the LiSA-kko. Even if you're not used to shouting loudly, “Baichii!” is easy to call out. So, when you attend one of her concert (date), be sure to shout “Baichii!” loudly at the end! It will surely become a wonderful memory!
