Position Available: English Teacher for Children (No Experience & No Japanese Required) – Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo

We are seeking enthusiastic English teachers in the Kansai region, including Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo. As a foreign guest teacher, you will lead engaging lessons that incorporate dancing, singing, and interactive English games.

◆Key Responsibilities
– Deliver English lessons to children aged 0 to 15, segmented by age group.
– Attend 20-minute briefing with the Japanese teacher prior to first lesson on the day. (unpaid)
– Set up, execute, and clean up after lessons.
– Engage with students and their parents to foster a positive learning environment.
– Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.

◆Location
Benesse BE Studio PLAZA branches across the Kansai region.
Please note that you will be assigned to different branches for each lesson.

◆Compensation
– 2,000 yen per lesson (approx: 1 lesson is 60 mins)
– Transportation reimbursement: Actual expenses
– Preparation allowance: 300 yen per day
– Training allowance: Minimum wage per hour at the time the contract is signed

◆Work Schedule
– Weekdays and Saturdays: 2~8 hours between 9:00~19:00
– Breaks: 45 minutes if working over 6 hours, 60 minutes if over 8 hours
– Shifts: Fixed shift is not available. You will be assigned for the lessons according to your shift request, however it is not guaranteed that you will have lessons on every shift requested day.

– No lessons are scheduled in March and April.
– No additional benefits or welfare provisions are offered.

◆Qualifications
– Native level English speaker with a clear accent (Japanese language skills are not required).
– Enjoyment of working with children, with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
– Comfortable singing and dancing in English during the lesson.
– Must be able to work for at least 6 months and more.
– Must be available to work during entire specified time slots below for at least one day a week:
Monday to Friday: Between 2 PM and 7 PM
Saturday: Between 9 AM and 7 PM
