Japanese high school students will be visiting Taipei on a school trip.
We are looking for international residents in Taipei to join the students for a fieldwork activity and communicate with them in English throughout the day.
◆Date & Time
December 2nd (Wed) 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
※ Meeting time: around 8:40 AM
◆Meeting Location
A hotel directly connected to Nangang Station
(The hotel where the students will be staying)
◆Activity Location
Various locations around Taipei City
◆Dismissal Location
TBD
There is a possibility that the activity will end at a restaurant near Songjiang Nanjing Station.
◆What You’ll Do
You will spend the day exploring Taipei with a small group of Japanese high school students and communicate with them in English.
The students will research and plan their destinations in advance, so you will accompany them and participate in the activities as a group.
During the fieldwork, please communicate with the students in English and have lunch together. The students and international participants will discuss and decide where to eat.
◆Number of Participants
8 people
◆Requirements
Business-level English or higher is required.
Applicants of any nationality are welcome, but you must be non-Japanese national.
◆Important Notes
Do not post the school’s name, student’s name, photos of the students, or any other information about the students online, including social media.
Do not exchange contact information with the students.
Safety is our top priority during the fieldwork. Please be especially careful about traffic and road safety.
Please always stay with your assigned group.
◆Compensation
12,000 Yen
Based on an exchange rate of JPY 1 = approximately TWD 0.2051, this is approximately TWD 2,460.71.
The actual TWD amount may vary depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment.
・1,500 Yen/JPY will be provided as a fixed transportation allowance for your round trip between your home and the meeting/dismissal location.
・Transportation costs during the fieldwork will be covered by providing you with transportation tickets.
・2,000 Yen/JPY will be provided as a fixed allowance for your lunch expenses.
・Admission fees for tourist attractions and other fieldwork activities will be paid for you by the students.
