■今現在、あなたは日本で何をしていますか？
I am Indonesian and currently living in Japan to accompany my husband pursuing his PhD study at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Omiya Campus. During my spare time, I worked as a visitation teacher for Benesse BE Studio, online English teacher for an Indonesian community and run my online small business (handcrafts) that is apparently in Indonesia.
私はインドネシア人で、芝浦工業大学大宮キャンパスで博士号を取得する夫に同行するため来日しました。時間があるときは、ベネッセ ビー スタジオで英語講師やインドネシア人コミュニティ向けのオンライン英語教師として働いており、オンラインで小規模ビジネス (ハンドクラフト)も経営しています。
■過去、日本以外の国で、どんな学校に通い、どんな勉強をしましたか？
Before coming to Japan, I used to live in Malaysia for almost 13 years. I studied at International Islamic University of Malaysia, majoring in Accounting and Finance. During my study, I did my internship at Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) located at the astonishing Twin Towers Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), Malaysia. I was assigned in Group Supply Chain Management Department where I had to assist the executives to prepare financial performance analysis for the Company’s vendors and prepared for the documents in procurement processes.
日本に来る前は、マレーシアに13年間住んでいました。マレーシア国際イスラム大学で会計ファイナンスを専攻していました。在学中は、クアラルンプールにあるツインタワー（KLCC)に事務所を構えるペトロナスというマレーシアの石油及びガスの供給を行う大手国営企業でインターンシップを経験しました。私はグループ サプライ チェーン マネジメント部門に配属され、ベンダーの財務実績分析をしたり、発注手順に関する文書を用意したりすること担いました。
■過去、日本以外の国で仕事をした経験がありますか？
Shortly after graduation, I worked at a multinational company, namely Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Kuala Lumpur branch as an auditor for 2 years and 10 months. This company offers several services such as audit and assurance, risk advisory, financial advisory, tax, legal and consulting. In fact, it also has a branch in Japan, located in Marunouchi, Chiyoda City, Tokyo.
卒業後、私は世界最大の会計事務所で多国籍企業であるデロイト・トウシュ ・トーマツのクアラルンプール支店で監査役として2年10カ月勤務しました。この企業は、監査と保証、リスク アドバイザリー、財務アドバイザリー、税務、法務、コンサルティングなどのサービスを提供しており、東京都千代田区丸の内にも支店があります。
■今後の目標
I’ve been passionate about teaching since I was little. Teaching will give me the opportunity express myself without hesitation and grow in a very comfortable environment. It acts as a platform for lifelong learning, take on new tasks, and contribute as much value as possible to the community. Plus, I would have a sense of self-worth where I can play a small role to make the world a better place through my experience and knowledge. As a matter of fact, my volunteering activities have been revolving around teaching. I used to teach Indonesian migrant workers when I was in Malaysia so that they will be able to communicate with the locals. I also taught English exam preparation for university students. In the future, it is my dream that I can make a difference in people’s lives through education.
私は小さいころから教えることに情熱を注いできました。教えることが、恥ずかしがらずに自分自身を表現し、非常に快適な環境で成長する機会を与えてくれたと感じています。それは生涯学習の土台としても機能していて、新しい事を引き受けたり、コミュニティに可能な限り多くの価値を提供したりするということにつながっています。さらに、私は自身の経験と知識を通して、世の中をより良い場所にするための役割を果たすことができるという自負があります。実際のところ、私は教育を中心にボランディア活動を行っています。マレーシアにいたとき、インドネシアからの出稼ぎ労働者が地元の人とコミュニケーションがとれるように教えていました。また、大学生向けに英語試験の対策も教えていました。将来は教育を通じて人々の生活に変化をもたらすことが私の夢です。
